Duke Aquatics swimmers recently competed in
the North Carolina Age Group Championships in Cary. Our team’s
accomplishments were highlighted by 9 team records, including the
11-12 Girls 200 & 400 medley relays as well as the 13-14 Boys
400 medley relay. (With eight 13-14 boys qualified for the
meet, Duke Aquatics had boys “B” relays at this meet
for the first time ever, which all scored points by placing in the
top 16.) Connor Sept re-wrote the 10 & under boys team
record board, with new standards in the 50 & 100 Free, 50 &
100 Breast, and 100 IM. Maija Roses, competing only on
relays, broke the 13-14 girls team record in the 100 free while
leading off the 400 free relay.
